Business Accelerator Program (BAP) supports business acceleration through validation of business models, understanding their strategic business positioning better as well as their operating environment and how to manage growth for relevant linkages and self-sufficiency. dfcu Foundation collaborated with dfcu Bank for the first women cohort and with GOPA Worldwide Consultants part of the E4D Project funded by GIZ and dfcu Bank for the second and third cohorts.

Additionally, the program facilitates networking and relationship-building with investors, mentors, and industry experts, which are crucial for business growth and expansion in the agribusiness sector.
dfcu Foundation, in collaboration with its partners, has successfully implemented three cohorts of the Business Accelerator Program. The first cohort graduation took place in March 2023 graduated 28 women agribusiness entrepreneurs with a certificate of completion and 18 enterprises with most gaining linkages to dfcu Bank financial services and the Hi Innovator program.
The second and third cohorts were launched in February 2023 and had a total of 110 participants from 59 enterprises with 52 of them participating in the intensive training and mentorship sessions. 36 dynamic and ambitious enterprises were able to graduate with a certificate of completion and 94 individuals with a certificate of participation, marking a significant milestone in their entrepreneurial journey.
